European Source of Quality Improvement Instrumentation for Fresh Produce Professionals

16th Jan 2020

New to the industry, Fresh Produce Instruments aligns European professionals with quality instrumentation to monitor, maintain, and improve the quality of their fresh produce.

The company was developed after recognizing a gap in the quality and versatility of products offered to European produce professionals. From this, the Netherlands-based company has committed to supplying high-quality, industry-specific instrumentation. Fresh Produce Instruments offers equipment for air and gas measurement, ethylene management, humidification, mould removal, and quality control.

Aguatronics™ Humidity Canon

For professionals directly involved in managing the ripening of produce, the company supplies ethylene generators and ripening concentrate to create ethylene for ripening and degreening. Handheld gas analysers help measure ethylene, CO2, and O2 within the produce ripening process. The company provides humidification solutions for large or small rooms, as well. Aguair’s Aguatronics™ FM nozzle offers a solution for maintaining high humidity levels without wetness in smaller rooms, typically up to 10,000 cubic feet / 280 cubic meters. The FM nozzle is 100% efficient as all water evaporates into the room.

F-751 Avocado Quality MeterPortable Felix Instruments’ meters for gauging produce quality are also available through the company. Growers can utilize instruments such as the F-750 Produce Quality Meter, F-751 Avocado Quality Meter, or the F-751 Mango Quality Meter to precisely and non-destructively measure dry matter and Brix. These instruments enable growers to accurately predict their crop harvest dates, reducing guesswork and minimizing spoilage, while increasing harvest predictability. For additional quality monitoring, Fresh Produce Instruments supplies equipment for Brix testing, fruit firmness, fruit sizers, and temperature testing.

Fresh Produce Instruments will be exhibiting at Fruit Logistica at Hall 1.2 / D-12 in Berlin, Germany 5-7 February 2020.
